I have just added the pics of the new Mantis Alien Bugs. These may look familar to some Sci-Fi fans :)

picture

I had some requests, so I added comparison shots with our 28mm SWAT, 15mm Earth Force and The Titan HAMR suit.

You can see it them here: rebelminis.blogspot.com

Thanks!

Hell yes! Rebelminis, as a gamer who still plays SST and can't afford the silly prices people wanted for Mites, Control bugs and Mantis assassins on ebay, I thank you for re-releasing them. Yours are probably better quality than Mongoose's old ones too.

Also, you added a third head to the kit? Is that what I'm seeing? :D

So when are you sculpting variant arms for them? You know, ones with guns. Very big guns.

I'll post pics of the gunners soon :)

Nice, but I would love to see some smaller versions of these bad boys.

palaeoemrus09 Jun 2012 3:32 p.m. PST

Rebel can you get the rights and molds of the old Mongoose 28mm powered armors? I can't help but think that those shouldn't be off the market as long as they have been.

I'm assuming that minis that depict bugs that were in the movie are off limits? I'm speaking of Brain Bugs and their little skateboard-buggies that carry them.

The one in the picture linked to the OP is the old Assassin Bug head from the Mongoose days, if that's what you mean. I'm not sure which one of the more bug-like heads shown on the blog would be new.

Reagrdless, it's good have this miniature back. Sadly, IIRC the word was that only the metal bug molds from the Mongoose SST bugs line are now @ Rebel Minis (usual caveat apply).

We have the rights to all of the non-Sony bugs and creatures. There are some more to release as we get the figures ready and create new molds. Hopefully, I'll have some more updates soon :)
