Pat Ripley Fezian is after something that has presence, that actually looks like a small stand of tropical bushes, and is cheap, tough and portable.

We moved into our new home 18 months ago and I was awarded yet again with my own room. I've been meaning to put up pictures but never got around until now. It's much smaller than my old room.

Looks standard to me, tons of terrain, minis, and hardly an area to play in…like myself. I had to move out to the garage….I was able to spread out that way. Wife had no problem with that.

Your a braver man than me to take pictures of your gaming space.

Not to be a perfectionist, but I understand why you have the corner gaps in your 1x trim around the table top. (48"x48" top and 2, 8' long boards cut in half for the edge.) To fix the appearance, you can cut some 1"x1" trim to glue or nail into the corners to give it a finished look. You might even find some pre-cut pieces in the appropriate lenths(2.5" or 3.5", depending on whether you used 1x3 or 1x4 pine boards) at your local DIY store.

I like the shelves buckling under the weight of the lead. Your room looks a lot like my basement.

79th PA, I thought the same thing too, but then I remember those shelves are partially round in the front. They are not bending, it is essentially a trick of the eye. Nice room.

Great! I counted about 5 or 6 walls?
My favorite bit is the big 40K poster reading "FIG HT!"
Seriously though- very jealous!

I want to know if that is the original painting of the dragon card? Even if not, very nice.

My wife; (may her name be ever praised, and she be lauded amongst women for the glory of her cooking and the smallness of her bottom), has asked me to move my wargames stuff out of the Study and into the 'Gimp Room'.. the problme is it isn't wide enough to fit two standard sized wargamers around a 6 x 4 table. :-(
