Nice job. You ought to look into doing some castable masters and see if someone will pick them up as a product range.

Great looking work!!! I second what Rich said!

I'd love to see these commercially available – that Horatius is great!

Those do look great!

Love the VTOL too.

What do you use as a basis for the overall hull shape, underneath the styrene plates?

Would like to see these in commercial production too, if you decide to do that.

Someone definitely needs to get a license deal together, pay you to knock together some masters, and get these cast up. I would buy multiples of several of the designs, especially your takes on the Renegade Spartius, Liberator, and Deliverer.

Serious stuff. The looks of the wheeled vehicles are great too (a little bit too tall?). The looks of the grav ones are fantastic, specially the tigrids!

I second jpattern2, you need to go pro man!

Covert Walrus05 Jun 2012 11:05 p.m. PST

Need some deatiled shots and a step-by-step on that VTOL, man.

Need it *Bad*

I don't think these need any comments. The models you build are as good as it gets.

Very impressive…..

Thanks everyone
"What do you use as a basis for the overall hull shape, underneath the styrene plates?"
The whole vehicle is built out of styrene pieces, flat sheets
built with styrene blocks sandwiched between sheets and shapes cut to the design needed.
once again thanks.

vtol is awesome

Mako1106 Jun 2012 3:00 p.m. PST

Thanks for the details on your building process kurakarl.

Where do you get styrene blocks?

I've never been able to find anything in the stores, other than styrene sheeting, rod, and strips.

Having various sized blocks available would certainly speed up the building process, since I don't relish the idea of having to cut a bunch of sheets to the same size, and then glue them together. Seems like that would take eons to do, unless you have a first-class workshop, which I don't.

Drop dead gorgeous! Always did like that Renegade Legion anti-grav "Char B1bis" with the hull-mounted rail gun…evil grin
