To everyone involved in LITTLE WARS, WELL DONE.
Another cracking good show.
'Twas a hoot.
Cheers

A fantastic day, absolutely world class.

I need some assistance if possible. I was talking to a fellow with an American or Canadian accent about WW2 naval games and I offered to help him out with something. I have stupidly lost his contact details. I am hoping somebody can help me with who this might be, or that he sees this.

Thanks fullahs. It was definitely a brilliant day, a magnificent sight to see so many gamers in the Melbourne (and beyond) community chatting/playing/catching-up/enjoying each other's company. For me, I bought too much stuff… and I need to sneak it past 'she who must be obeyed' and into the house at some stage today… wink

Hongihika, good to see those first three pints of beer didn't affect your ability to focus :) Just realised there is some of my painting in the last photo.

A fantastic day of games, friends and gaming gear. The best attended so far. Thank you to all who came along and supported the event.

Oi! Ya cheeky. It was Dagorlad's fault, he bought the third stein…

Talking of Dagorlad, I should also add a big thanks to our South Australian attendees. For those who might be interested, Bugle Call is on in a couple of weeks – a weekend of wargaming in Adelaide – with a similar sort of 'fun day of gaming vibe' to Little Wars.

Swing on by and say hello to Nic at the Eureka stall – you'll be able to tell who he is by the BIG nametag on his tshirt. evil grin

yeah I agree – thanks to all involved for a great day: wargames, beer, bratwurt's, bargains and loads of gas-bagging about gaming. Does it get any better?

Thanks to the Western Sub's lads for a great game of C&C Ancients.

Cheers

Excellent photos Trailape… I wonder if they had to get out an electric shaver for that 15mm Waterloo table?

Some pics from the ozpainters competition, as well. First I got to see of it, as I couldn't get past the press of people and near their table for the whole day.

A brilliant day of fun and games – and German beer. Thanks to Ara, Nic and Mike for organising such a wonderful event.

My favourite game of the day was Borodino in 28mm. A superb sculpted table and wonderfully painted figures – I was in awe of the effort that was put into it. Magnificent. But there were dozens of other games there that were of the highest quality.

Thanks to everyone who played on my Aerosans game – I hope you had fun, I certainly did. And thanks to everyone who took the time to explain their own game to me and also to the traders who were really helpful and friendly and only too willing to take my money in exchange for lead and plastic.

I'm already looking forward to next year's event.
