Welcome to My Nightmare (1975)
Alice Cooper Goes to Hell (1976)
Lace and Whiskey (1977)
From the Inside (1978)
Flush the Fashion (1980)

Raise Your Fist and Yell (1987)
Trash (1989)
Hey Stoopid (1991)
The Last Temptation (1994)

It's a toughie – I really like School's Out, and Billion Dollar Babies. his new wavey Special Forces and Zipper Catches Skin are good memories, but if push comes to shove it has to be :

Welcome to My Nightmare

for the vintage stuff it would have to be…

From the Inside (1978)

Modern stuff would have to be…

Hey Stoopid (1991)

I own Schools Out, Billion Dollar Babies and Trash. Out of those three I thought Trash was the best with the track 'Poison'. I cant say I've listened to any of the rest. Just as an aside -in 7 degrees or less of separation, how does this poll relate to miniatures or wargaming?

Is hety stoopid modern ?

Brutal planet is quite good, Dragontown a bit less so. I haven't hear Nightmare 2 as I'm a bit worried that it'll be crap and taint Nightmare by association !

Hey Stoopid is my favourite as well.

I really wanted to like Last Temptation but just couldn't get into it.

Alice was a airplay royaltied genius – Schools Out and (the wonderfully cynical) Elected.

Guaranteed regular airplay ! Ker-ching !

Got to be Billion Dollar Babies, tra laa laa laa laa!!

"Welcome to My Nightmare." Apparently it's a favorite of a lot of other Alice Cooper fans too, since he's made a new Nightmare album. I feel cautious about "Nightmare 2" for the same reasons you do.

mrwigglesworth27 May 2012 3:52 p.m. PST

I am a big alice fan and I love them all.
If I can have only one then its From the Inside.
I just love Millie And Billie. Its a twisted love story.
