Our miniature wargaming group is planning a joint (no, I don't mean it that way although a few of our more uptight players could stand some loosening up) night out with several other wargaming groups. As part of the entertainment, I am making a list of wargamers trivia questions and have decided to base them on quotes from war movie dialogs.

Do you have a favorite quote/dialog line(s) from a war movie?

At a minimum I need the quote/dialog line(s) and the movie name. If you already know the movie's released date, featured actor(s), and/or the character/actor speaking the line(s) it would be helpful but is not necessary. I'm certainly willing to do that research myself.

The film's historical period, age, national origin, or level of historical accuracy is not important. Films such as The Longest Day, Zulu, Gettysburg, Cross of Iron, Waterloo, Patriot, A Bridge Too Far, Saving Private Ryan, In Harm's Way, Battle of Britain, Tora Tora Tora, Centurion, Flags of Our Fathers, What Price Glory, etc. come immediately to mind. But, in fact, any movie will do providing, in your judgment, the quote would be relevant/interesting/memorable/pertinent enough to interest the typical miniature wargamer. One of my favorite wargaming-relevant dialog lines from movies of this kind are from the 1999 film, The 13th Warrior. The character played by Antonio Bandaras speaks to his Viking warrior friend before they ride into battle:

Ahmad Ibn Fahdlan: Have we anything resembling a plan?
Herger the Joyous [ nodding ]: Mm-hm. Ride till we find them…and kill them all.

And who can forget "Run Away! Run Away!" from Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail.

The only limitation is that the film is, or until recently was, generally available to an English-speaking audience. Foreign war movies dubbed or subtitled in English, for example the great German-made films Stalingrad and Das Boot (The Boat), are fine.

Thanks.
