After a couple of years, I finally got the 2nd wave of Lizard-Riders out. These were sculpted by Michael Lovejoy and painted by Pigmented Miniatures (who both did an amazing job).

6mm Sci-Fi continues to grow bigger and better!

earthad23 May 2012 5:48 p.m. PST

really awesome!

I really love these. These encapsulate my childhood memories of Dino Riders the cartoon.

I don't have any other 6mm stuff (besides War of the Worlds) but I don't think I can resist getting these.

Great stuff!

The suplts are extremely well done, there is more detail to them that I didn't show up in the pictures.

Completely bonkers! Excellent work by Mr. Lovejoy and well painted by Pigmented Miniatures too.

Cheers, TC.

Nice! The set is getting large enough that we could have different factions now – one challenge I've had with the first release wave was who their opponents should be (willing to take suggestions from TMP's collective wisdom though).

who their opponents should be

Who else to oppose Pastoral Agrarian Dino-Riders
but Soul-less Automatons of Destruction…?

Good call, sort of the underdog dino-riders vs. the remorseless invaders. My challenge was thinking of someone who wouldn't just nuke them from space or fire HE into those big walking pieces of meat.

What rule sets can handle these figures? I toy with Epic A but don't have enough experience with the rules and army lists to know if it can handle dino riders.

I am very excited about this release and can't wait till I have enough funds available to order them.

Strike Legion has the original wave statted up, I presume he'll do these too. I think the stats are a file in the Yahoo group, rather than in the rulebook.

Awesome and its good to see this range expand.

Cheers

Yes, the Dino-Riders list for Strike Legion will soon be updated to include the new releases (and if you want to fight alongside or against Gothic Elf-style Star Guardians, Andrayada, the other 6mm scifi lines from Microworld, or a host of other opponents, check the downloads page on the Legionnaire Games website: link ). :D
