I'm looking for some heavy, metal bases to put some of my dramatic figures atop: Empire Captain on Pegasus, Chaos DWarf Llamasu, etc. The 40mm and 50mm square bases often aren't stable enough to keep a fig from toppling over during play. Should also have put sci-fi in, as my Necron c'tan is a bit too easy to topple, also. I'd also like fantasy theme bases: a pile of skulls, chaos symbols, etc. Metal would be nice to make them heavier. Anyone having bought and used such products please make a recommendation. Thanks! |

Not in metal. But there is a ton of great looking resin bases in 50mm. That should do most of your 'topple' figs.

nothing impressive, really. Obviously I'll have to make my own. A bit disappointing. |

If you can use the rounded-lip bases like Dark Age/Privateer Press, PP does make solid metal bases. Pricey, but very good for curing tippy minis! |

Slap a big metal washer under a hollow plastic base. |
