there's a new sci-fi mass combat game coming out soon. It's in 10 or 15mm scale and has four factions (humans, neo-humans, some kind of aliens that use a lot of portals, and the scourge). I saw some miniatures a while, but forgot the name of the game they're part of, so now I can't find them anywhere. Would anyone happen to know of the game I'm trying to find? |

I am rather excited, hoping the rules are a sharp as the models |

Understandable, albeit a difficult goal to live up to since the models are simply amazing so far. They'll have a hit on their hands if the rules are even half as impressive. |

"Dave" from Hawk WarGames gives some hints of what you should expect from the game in his Salute interview – it does look like that even if execution is not top-notch it'll have at least some personality to it: link |

I'm loving the post-human republic models. I will probably get a couple vehicles, just to see how they work with 15mm troops. I'm too heavily invested in 15mm to start another game in 10mm, sadly. |

If nothing else it should be a gold mine of drones/bots/weird alien stuff for both 6mm and 15mm players – and maybe even 28mm fans. But if the rules rock, I could see the whole line taking off. As was said, it's sure got personality, and the design aesthetics are wonderfully varied. |

Yes, some of the drones and mecha do seem to be big enough to pass for 28mm figures even (and easily large enough for 15mm). Might turn out to be more expensive than an equally bulky officially 28mm figure of course but that remains to be seen. We should get a look at the prices in about a week and a half. |

I'll be buying them, even if the rules suck I'll just use the for FWC or make my own system/mods. |

I already fell in the 15mm pool. Now must I resist yet another scale? Oh, the agony

I think I may buy some of the Scourge stuff to go with my few Therians and that Junk Golem thing from the Starwars CMG. |

Newest sneak peak Scourge thingies would make nice little scuttling droids for 28mm: link So cute!!!1!1! |

I'm so looking forward to this it's unhealthy. As Samulus says above if the rules are not inspiring enough then Future War Commander will do nicely. I gather the figures will be cheaper if one buys them by the battlegroup- that was the impression I got from the designer at Salute. Leigh |
