Hola! First post here, as it was suggested to me that TMP would be the ideal place to look for playtesters.

My name is Steven Trustrum. I am the owner of Misfit Studios, a small press RPG company, and long-time freelancer in the RPG industry. Misfit Studios is currently in the writing stage of releasing its first wargame, Aim for the Head, in preparation for a PDF release along with a print release through its print partner, Cubicle 7. As such, I'm looking for playtesters who are willing to help put the rules through their paces via the playtesting forums on our messageboards.

misfit-studios.com

AftH is a default 28mm game, but can easily be downscaled to 15mm. It is written to accommodate miniatures, terrain, etc. currently on the market. As such, it will not require players purchase a Misfit Studios' specific miniatures line in order to play.

Confidentiality is required, so anyone interested will have to mail in a standard NDA. All active participants in the playtest (meaning you have to help out--no freebies if you join up and then have nothing to say) will receive a free copy of the game's PDF release, playtesting credit in the book, and I'm thinking of other perks that may be incorporated into the game. Other products are meant to follow up the core release, with similar benefits for people who help playtest those as well.

Anyone who is both interested and able to devote the time required to bash through and proof the rules via discussion and/or actual play can contact me via trustrum@misfit-studios.com. Canadian playtesters in the Toronto area will also be welcome to join me at Misfit Studios HQ (better known as my basement office and workshop) for the occasional weekend playtest games.

In your email, please outline your wargaming experience (how long you've been playing, etc.) and why you think you'd be an ideal playtester.

Great responses so far. :)

Thanks to everyone who is responding.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I should have enough playtesters for now. People inevitably drop out, though. Something else comes up or they just never seem to speak up, so I may call for my playtesters down the road.

Cheers!

To Andrew Maxfield

I've tried emailing you back several times, but keep getting a permanent error. Do you have an alternative email address I could contact you through?
