Does anyone know if Mongoose/ADB will be having downloads for SFB ships not in the core ACTA-SF book, or are they planning to only do fleet/scenario books? If they're available, where can I find them?

Who knows what that outfit will do.

Following Mongooses previous systems, it is most likely already canceled.

My understanding is the main book at the moment for ships but more to come. It will take time as to cowardinate with ADB because they have to aprove everything that comes out. As for the game defaulting, I dont see it as the license is well worked out and has no reason to run out. Its not a five year or two year license like some games in the past. I would say Mongoose is getting away from these types of situations.

I believe the first supplement is to contain battleships and scouts. There was a list on the ADB Forums of ships approved for the second traunch of models.

From what I recall, 'they' said they will be resurrecting their 'Signs & Portents' web-zine with more ACTA content, including new ships, rules, and the like, to keep up interest between hardcover supplement books.

Plus, the Star Fleet Battles magazine, 'Captain's Log' is supposed to have content, also. Though I don't know about new ships or rules. Probably tactic articles and convention recaps, I expect.

Thanks, guys. My group is going with the SFB minis for now, as we can get them easier, despite the size difference. It's nice to know that we'll be able to use ships we already have that aren't in the core book, eventually.
