Who are those guys?
I had never seen before.
That's not so bad if they are working in the garage.

I found the bad acting a bit TOOO much to take. Nice concept, very nicely done FX and prop work, and commendable for the effort involved. I can't help but look at the show and hear Shatner saying "Get a Life!"

Really, if the guy would branch out he could make money doing movies for Syfy, and they would be better then those creature features they keep running.

I only got to watch a little of the beginning of that episode. I like watching the Phase 2, which was formerly called The Continuing Voyages. I really like the work they've done in recreating the sets, props and the CG work is quite impressive. I like the idea of updating the orignal series without redoing it all over again.

That particular episode seems a lot like the TNG Episode called The Child. Which I recall was a recycled script that was originally penned for the official Star Trek Phase II series, which Paramount was planning to air back in the 70s until they decided to shift gears and go for a full feature movie (Star Trek The Motion Picture). This looks like a recreation of the original script.

A lot of the Phase II elements ended up in The Next Generation.

The Decker character became Riker and the Illia character became Troi. Spock's character was written out of the Phase II as Nimoy didn't want to do another TV series (but changed his mind when the producers decided to turn the production into a movie). Spock was replaced by a younger full Vulcan named Xon. Some other TNG episodes were recycled scripts that were drafted for the Phase II series.

There was one that I watched just recently where Picard becomes a father figure to a human boy adopted and raised by a hostile alien race that resembled Klingons. I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be Kirk in place of Picard and rather than the Tallarians it was supposed to be Klingons.

Seen them at Toronto FANEXPO end of August. Always enjoy them.

Actually, think it was called Star Trek: New Voyages, prior to "Phase 2"

I think you are right Dave.

Just finished watching the whole movie, not bad, I always enjoy watching these.

Will someone give these people a haircut!

Just finished watching the 4 New Voyages episodes. They break my first law of fan films: "If you want to do time travel then make a Dr. Who fan film, not Star Trek." Still, they weren't bad, so the next four episodes by the same group (where they start using "Phase II" title) are currently downloading.
