Well, I kept thinking to myself that I need a data terminal for my games, and I was unable to find one. So I made one! Hey, why not! What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Can you print me a couple of those and send them to me so I can see them for real? ;) Only kidding, looks great. I'd do loads of this kinda thing for myself if I had access to a good colour printer. Colin |

You could always print it out in B&w and then paint it

One thing that has fascinated me about the "Cyberpunk" Genre is that technology really has made some things in the game seem pretty quaint. If everyone has a smart phone, probably embedded in the body by then, why have a data terminal? If this is an ATM, who needs cash when the smart phone is also your credit card? Just squirt the money from one device to another. |

Very true
but i've always rationalized it by bandwidth. You can check everything you need to with your PDA (haha!) or phone, but if you want to use the matrix, you better jack in, wireless just can't handle it (I ignore 4th edition). Also, maybe it's not reliable enough? And, with the cyberpunk/shadowrun future maybe the lower class can't even afford phones

.your post on that is getting me interested in strange aeons Well, it's going :) I'm easily distracted by shiny objects. The great thing (or one of them) about Strange Aeons is that for the lurkers (monsters/aliens) their is built in customization. I need to start typing up the various aliens, and basically I just use a base "lurker" and then add the points to customize it to make it fit. |
