Maybe take stuff from the Hawk spaceships? Most of them have a basic "Y" shape, so saw them in half, which gives you two leg struts. Rinse and repeat. You'd probably need some "hip" as well. |

@Grumpy Monkey, More in general, though Footfall is the only story I know with such a beast. Fantasy games have had such and there there is the denizen of Jabba's palace Efant Mon or Max Reebo. D&D's Loxo seem to be derived from Footfall's alliens though they are bipedal.
