Well, at least you didn't play with my heart.

why the oops? I did it again – are you that embarassed by it? Is it something you feel you need to stop?

perhaps just a heading of 'I made another cutta (for my rebel grots in gorkamorka)' would work better.

Nice, but if you persist in alluding to Lady Gaga songs in your thread titles, well then, I'm afraid you'll have to be dealt with.

;)

Really nice.
Smokie -- not Gaga… That was Brittany Spears.
beer

Smokey Roan21 May 2012 9:41 a.m. PST

GooGoo, Gaga, Brittany Spears, they are all the same. :)

firstvarty197921 May 2012 10:33 a.m. PST

University of Miami, University of Florida, Florida State, they are all the same. :P (not that I give a care about the aformentioned singing tarts, but I thought I'd yank your chain for no good reason…)

Smokey Roan21 May 2012 2:11 p.m. PST

firstvarty, you just made The List! (Think Nixon's list, or Michael Corrleone's list for details!)

:)

Sorry if I mislead anybody, I was referring to the fact that I hadn't planned on building anything, it just happened.

I have a daughter who is a Spears fan so I am unfortunately more familiar with her "work" than a normal fifty-year-old would care to be.

Would it be OK if I did a title like "Cold-Blooded, check it and see" (from the old Foreigner playlist) for my upcoming note about reptiles?

Anton Ryzbak21 May 2012 3:04 p.m. PST

Although "You may be Right (I may be crazy)" by Billy Joel would apply to Colonel O'Truth and his many-riveted models over on the VSF forum…….I mean, as long as I am going with song titles to headline posts.

It's no worse than one young lady's threads over on the old Specialist Games fora… "Tyranids and Scooby Doo" (complaining that all Epic Nid armies were identical) and "Genestealers stole my Jeans" (think it was commenting that there wasn't much purpose to taking anything but genestealers)

And I think I've seen a post title like that before here on TMP…

Smokey Roan22 May 2012 12:07 p.m. PST

No. No Foreigner. This is 40k, for God's sake! This is serious business that calls for Rush, Iron Maiden and other hard core bands!!!!!!!

Anton Ryzbak22 May 2012 2:05 p.m. PST

OK Smokey, how about some thing for old folks like me; YouTube link or, YouTube link or (in a more road-related vein) YouTube link

or for a more high-tech mechanical violence (it is 40K after all) YouTube link and YouTube link

This guy seems to have an Orky attitude toward weapons ( although he looks more like a Digga) YouTube link

Smokey Roan22 May 2012 3:44 p.m. PST

Anton, you are now cool again! Good work!

LOL! Breaking The Law was one of the first songs I played on stage, circa 1982, in my first band

Anton Ryzbak22 May 2012 5:49 p.m. PST

Smokey;

That last link the lad really IS a "Digga", in the ANZAC sense.

Lets see……..1982, that was a while back; I had a wife and kids by then.

Now you are making me feel really old.

"Smokie -- not Gaga… That was Brittany Spears."

Britney, actually- a distinction made abundantly clear by a certain Pia Miranda character….
