What are you looking for in a 15mm Post Apocalypse Vehicle?

What kinda of vehicle should it be?

I tend to focus on car sized vehicles with brief excursions in to trucks. Mostly wheeled, but recently some treads have slipped in, and there are ideas about landspeeders in there as well. But I tend towards a higher Tech Post Apocalypse than some.

If not whole vehicles, what parts would you like to see?

Or how about modular vehicles? Something like Ramshackle Games vehicles.

I would like to see a van maybe even a mobile home done up.
Not too much armour as that would slow it down but more with a house/camp site look to it.

jammed with practical survival things:

Winch.
Wind turbine – may as well create extra power as you drive.
Sattelite dish.
Boxes all over full of scavenged stuff.
Ladder on the side so you can get on the roof.
A dingy or something on the roof stored away for when you see a lake and want to go fishing.

I just see a lot of vehicles that are made by Mad Max types but none that are made by regular joe who has his familiy and is travelling around staying alive trying to find other nice folk.

Wind turbine – may as well create extra power as you drive.
Makes you burn more fuel.

But otherwise that's a good list.

^ True that. Really Mean looking weaponized Post Apoc Veichles are freaking cool, and they have other uses like Gothic sci-fi. Also, I would absolutely love to see Ramshackle style vehicles Available in 15mm. I mean, I modern vehicles/bits are nice and all, but they are already somewhat available. but if you chose to make Said Really mean Homemade/Weaponized Fighting Vehicles and/or Ramshackle styled veichles, you would be doing something not yet done in 15mm

To be honest, I would just love to see some turrets, weapons and stowage that I can add to my own stuff….Or add to some dirt cheap Hot Wheels/Matchbox/Maisto.

I like Khurasan's WarTruck. I don't have any yet, but I will if it comes back in stock. An RV or even a MRAP or Hummer would also be good, particularly the RV (nicer beds compared to the others).

Matchbox has a Buffalo MRAP that is almost exactly 1/100 scale. BIG sonuva, too.

I am dabbling in bits like Ramshackle right now, figuring out how to cast them is being slower that I would like. I can work ing drop cast resin here at Casa MacDude, metal casting will be a little more problematic, as my local white metal caster isn't so local any more….
