Greetings everyone! As might be clear by now, I've been bitten by the 15mm bug – hard! So, there's yet another update at Terminus Nebula, about a quick repurposing (as well as a tip) of a 28mm miniature for 15mm.

Interested? Then head on over to: terminusnebula.blogspot.com

Cheers!

That walker looks cool! Nice job.

Very nice! It looks better in 15mm that it ever did in 28.
With the window-like panels on the top, it looks like it should be a manned mech though.

I agree with bass in the sense that windowed panels should be covered with plasticard/milliput/green stuff,

it could also have some sensory equipment attached to its 'head', to reinforce it believability as an autonomous unit.

Good call regarding the "window panels" – but they don't look like, to me, to be intended as window panels, but rather sunken armor panels of some sort? Personally I just figured that they were hatches, allowing for easy access to reboot the droid.

But duly noted on the sensory equipment; need to scavenge the bitz-box for the next one then.

I have to mimic the other comments about hatches and windows.

Another thing I try to do when re-scaling 28mm stuff is to try to get the weapons to look more in scale. On this walker I would have got rid of the giant ammo clips and replaced them with some sort of ammunition box or feed into the body of the walker.
