I am slowly working on finishing this up as well as the other 4 sub levels and warehouse level. This is the largest of the levels. Game is going to be based around aliens breach sub level 5 and contagion is released turning all the humans into zombies. The humans soldier barracks is on sub level 3 and have to go down to sub level 5 to try to stop the aliens from attaining the secret plans or weapon of what not -- Both the aliens and Humans will have to fight the zombies. then escape via the warehouse level. Still working on stuff for armory and beds and little nick knacks to decorate the place with. Hope to have it set up at Recruits next fall and have multiple level games going with 6-8 players controlling a unit. Doing simple home brew rules simple enough for a 10 year old with a deck of cards for equipment searches in rooms like health and ammo and weapons ect -- micropanzer.com

Outstanding work Jason!!! Great use of the Space Ship X parts. I also really like all the little details you are adding. I see your Stomper managed to sneek into the picture. I'm slowly getting all my parts cleaned and assembled for my two. Great kit. Jeff |

it is costing a bit but that does not stop my 3 year old from driving hotwheels on it when I leave the room. lol The main cost involved is the space ship X tiles -- I used five sets but have a lot of hall ways left over I will use on other levels. This is another project that once I am done with it and go to sell it I will be lucky to break even on. If I don't get to crazy with the other levels should come in at about 400 cost. I am starting a blog to cover projects I like to work on between slipstream projects. |

I was just thinking about something like this today and contemplating my options. Ainsty stuff would cost me a fortune with shipping on top of that. Hirst Arts would mostly be time and labor (molds – just one of any mold won't allow for reasonable completion time, plus plaster). Spaceship X tiles are still a possibility, I have two assembled sets and could get more. Main problem is you just don't get enough rooms! Building it out of Plastruct might be another possibility. I have seen a small hulk built out of it that looked good. Excellent work, by the way, great example of what you can do with the Spaceship X stuff! |

So, uh, wow
that's amazing. I guess my Spaceship X tiles will be doing double duty as Research labs in the Shadowrun games

That is really cool. I especially like the coolant lake. Is this for a convention game or just for fun around the local? [EDIT} I guess if I wasn't so distracted by all the eye candy I would have seen that it was for Recruits. |
