Hi all,

We're back with an in depth look at Mantic's Corporation Marines, lots of pictures and info here:

Ooooh! I like the one in the middle.

@Agent Brown – haha, as you probably guessed this is a size comparison shot between GW and Mantic kits.

I'd much rather have the two on the outside…

Useful review: ta muchly

Hate the renaissance puffball shoulders.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I do like the look of the Mantic ones though. A bit more realistically proportioned.

Hate the renaissance puffball shoulders.

Sure the shoulder armour sticks out a little ways (more American Football than Francis Drake by my eye, but what do I know grin ) but it looks fairly OK to me. I certainly prefer Mantic's more realistic human proportions and I like their alternative to nasty slot bases

Hrm… I might actually 'need' to buy a set of the Rangers.

In regards to anatomical correctness, I do think the picture angles in the OP review do flatter these a bit. Compare with the pictures in a Rangers review (granted, the marines may have better proportions):

What should I use to stick the resin bits together? Would Zap-A Gap (cyanoacrylate glue) work? I don't want to melt these things.

Well, I risked one with the Zap a gap and it worked okay. So far. I picked a rifle arm and clutching arm that didn't match very well though. :(

This guy will be assigned to the back of the formation.

Well I slop-built five of them, one with a flamer. Sadly it is a "hand flamer" and so looks a bit like a super-soaker. They look okay I guess. The arms are kind of odd.
