Looking for some higher ranking civilians to add to my collection. Already know and have the Blue Moon and Peter Pig pirate figures that might work. Especially want "characterful" figures. Yes, yes, I know – the larger scales! But that begs the question, doesn't it. There are exceptional figures in 15 mm. Thanks to anyone who can make me aware of such figures. Low life type figures and wanton women also sought – in metal.

only scale specific suggestions, please – 15 or 18 mm.

Early morning, I'll be watching to see what success this brings. I'm putting together my FIW collection and love what you call the "characterful" figures, the non-combatant types who add favor to the layout. Unfortunately, as you indicate, that flavor is too often denied the 15mm/18mm lines and enjoyed by the 25mm/28mm lines. Like you, I have the Peter Pig offerings and the civilians from the FIW and Pirate lines by Blue Moon. I'm crossing my fingers that your request draws out some additional 18th century "characterful" figures. Thanks for posting. Richard

Well, QRF has some character models in the Maharatta & Sikh Wars range, HI56 (English Personalities/mounted officers) and HI57 (Indian/Native Princes and mounted officers).

British/French 1750-1800 range: HI23 (Personalities, Clive, Eyre, Coote, Dupleix).

7YW range: ASY20 (Austrian Personalities, Generals Daun, Loudon, Nadasti); FSY25 (French personalities: Soubise, Gen Chevert and Staff Officer); BSY15 (Marquis of Granby, Duke of Bruswick, Gen Luckner); JR08 (Charles Stuart and Staff); PSY20 (Personalities: Frederick, von Seydlitz, von Zieten);

For the lowlifes, there's BSY25 (Settlers Mixed) and PS42 (Camp followers) in the Commissary line.

Richard,

There will be some one day soon from Blue Moon when they release their Musketeer range. Not sure when that will be, maybe by Historicon. Also, for an earlier period, check out Donnington's offerings. They have some very nice civilians I will be adding in one day, hopefully.

Lion, I have the QRF/Freikorps "low lifes" and they are very nice additions. I will check out the others you mention – I've found some gems in QRF packs (though more interested in figures on foot than mounted, generally). And they always provide exceptional service. Too bad freight rates have gotten so out of hand when ordering from UK to US.
