Hey, John, I thought you were already on record as stating it was for self amusement, with annoying others as an added bonus. Which I might summarise as : (12) It amuses me, and no greater justification is required. Sometimes it annoys the squares and as they froth at the mouth I am further amused. No, I do not believe it is. It seems to me that option three is an ideological position, and spite is more of an irrational emotional state. So, we need another option : (13) I burn with an unfocused rage that drives me to lash out at those around me, undeserving as they may be for such treatment. I vent my rage upon myself as much as on others, and were it not that to do so would merely feed my all consuming negativity and increase tenfold the fury of my firey rages then you would surely pity me. |
