Lots more narrative and photos are on the blog; enjoy!

Good looking game and figures. Nice to see that the hoplites came out on top – I do like the rules and the way they add some uncertainty to each round.

Hi Dean

Would you say that was the size of game that it was realistic to aim at for a Thursday/Sunday game?

Did you have a run down of the army selected? Did nt see any close ups of your army.

Cheers

James

That's because Craig's army was new to my blog, and much prettier than mine!

I would call these large armies for a three-four hour evening session when you also have to explain the rules. Fine for seasoned players and small for a 4-5 hour or longer session.

My army was two commands of four units of Hoplites and two of Psoiloi, and one command of Two units of Peltasts and one of Psoiloi. Simples.

Thanks Dean

In the absence of points values it helps to know what I should be aiming for.

Cheers

Excellent looking game and armies. We've found 300 points, two divisions a side games good for a three hour HC game.
