Yes, what's with all the kookie poll suggestions lately?

Did some people realize they are falling behind in the post count and suddenly decide they needed to catch up to Tango?

get a month membership every time a poll you suggest is used

It seems to come in waves.

"kooky." That's a word I haven't heard in a long time.

timlillig15 May 2012 3:00 p.m. PST

I would assume it is in response to some of the polls that have been run lately- in other words kooky pols inspire more kookie polls.

Cardinal Hawkwood15 May 2012 3:32 p.m. PST

what is "wendyball"?

Perhaps it's the bloody Kookie monster. It is getting rather tiresome though.

Ach, it's nay worse than the endless FoW threads.

Did some people realize they are falling behind in the post count …

Total nonsense.
NO ONE, including me, posts for the purpose of upping our post count. That is a totally idiotic motivation. And I am not saying that because I have the highest post count.
I post, and propose Polls, solely becaues it amuses me to do so.

People who propose wacky Polls do so because it amuses us to do so.
And if it Bleeped textes you off that we do so, all the better. grin

Some of us are somewhat more goal oriented, although since I hit my 6 million characters posted target I've rather lost interest in that particular target. I like to have post targets because it amuses me.

I find the 'kooky' poll suggestions a little tedious but no-one is forced to read them or participate in the resulting polls.

It certainly got me to turn off the Polls board and removed Polls from my front page. Wow, there certainly is a lot more threads about gaming on my front page now!

It is sad though, cause I do enjoy the gaming polls, or even media related polls that tie into gaming themes/interests.

An Utter Drivel Poll section and Suggestion board would be nice.

If it was Utter Drivel, many would ignore. It must be with the Important-or is it Impotent?-stuff to be seen.

well I am still no wiser on Wndyball but may be for the better….and who would of thought a band would call itself The Decemberists..they must have read War and Peace at some point in their lives..puts me in mind of a poll..
