Just updated my 28mm Colonial Marine review, and added the brand new Defiance Games Marines. There's a size comparison pic in there, too.

Looks like the em4 Colonial Marines and the Copplestone Marines do it for me.

Tidy stuff – I've been using the em4 minis for a while now, really like the sculpts.

I've also picked up some of the Pig Iron system troopers which (with the right heads) match up quite nicely…

Like your painting tutorial too by the way!

The Denizen ones are beutiful and fit in quite well with Kev White's Hasslefree stuff.

I already own most of both so that's certainly where I'd go (and have). The Leading Edge ones were always fairly ugly sculpts. The rest are all ok but not the ones I would pick.

Thanks for the in depth review/comparrision.

A very nice addition to one of the most useful sci-fi figure comparisons on the net.

Excellent!

Yet another reminder that I need to pick up the Denizen Mid-Tech Marines to accompany my Ventaurans and Khiff

Denizens do look quite nice. It would be nice to do an aliens vs. marines scenario with Infinity rules.

Thanks for the nice feedback, everyone! Just came back from out of town, so it was nice to have this waiting.
