Ebob has a range for Vietnam that looks very nice. Search Recon 28. Alas the figures have been sitting unreleased for over a year but the trees are available. Woodland Scenics produce some very nice, albeit very expensive Royal Palms. Similar items can be found on ebay from Chinese manufacturers for a fraction of the cost, especially if bought in bulk. Pegasus produce some quite acceptable palms in plastic that will accept paint if primed properly. |

Just to throw in a shameless plug for myself! link I've got 95mm and 120mm types just in, but they're not on the site yet. |

Well to tell the truth, the Pegasus ones are quite serviceable and I have a fair selection of them but quality wise, they aren't too far advanced on the plastic palms I purloined from a playset I bought for my four year old. Some of the model railroad palm trees on the other hand are really quite another matter. Durability? I suppose that depends on how they are handled or stored. The Pegasus tree are a semi hard plastic, and inevitably paint chips so I'd say honours are about even. Here's but one example of what I'm talking about. auction Various vendors, mostly China based. The palms and other trees come in various styles, types and equally importantly, if you are planning a forest, height variation. Something Pegasus doesn't. Price wise they knock the Pegasus trees for dead. My two cents worth. |

Or you can make them out of pine cone cores. Strip off all the petals and use small fern stems as the leaves. They are a little hard to make but look cool. |

Check a cake decorating company called Sugarcraft on line. They have palm, deciduous, and evergreens in a variety of sizes at prices that shame the usual members of the terrain community. The trees flex and don't break and can be tossed in a box. You'll have to base them. |

I have these link and they are acceptable. I use them for 28mm. |
