Assumptions:
1. You pick the date and location.
2. You cannot return to the present.
3. You cannot bring anything that couldn't exist at your target date/location – that means you will in most cases arrive Terminator style.
4. You speak whatever language necessary to blend in.
5. You know everything you know now, beware that what you call "science" may not be looked upon as favorably as you.
6. You have every expectation of living out your normal life subject to your own decision making.
7. You can change history; your future self will fail to exist to prevent paradox.

Question: Do you go? And if so where?

I would go back to relive my life and see the results of changed decisions, right up to the time I found this poll question at which point I would repeat the process as often as I liked, thus rendering myself effectively immortal.
