Thanks for the post. Great pixs. I am planning a game of this for next year's anniversary of the battle. It will be presented at Drums at the Rapids 2013 that is held at Ft. Meigs every May.

BTW this Fri. and Sat., the 18th &19th, is Drums at the Rapids 2012.

Of course, the only time I went to Fort Meigs, it was infested with ACW re-enactors. :)

For some reason the Brits always liked to siege forts in Ohio.There was Fort Laurens during the American Rev too.It was a smaller affair than Fort Meigs,probably because it was a hundred miles further east from Detroit,the intended target.
