Just a quick note to you dungeon crawlers, it looks like Scott Pyle is making rapid progress on the Goalsystem dungeon crawling game. Check out his updates here:

In the past this was known as Goalsystem Fantasy and is an offshoot the Terronus rules.

After some play testing by Scott and his dedicated play testers, the rules seem to be shaping up nicely.

Like the other goalsystem games, this is skirmish game where players can make rival warring dungeon gangs to battle each other. But focus here is on creating a classic dungeon crawl feeling with players and a GM (Delvemaster.) All the stuff one would expect to be there is: levels, monsters, treasures, traps…

For full disclosure, I'm a big fan of the goalsystem games and I help out some in later stages of the beta testing. Outside of wanting lots of people to play Scott's games, I have no stake in this.

I had to skip on the playtest due to other commitments, but I've been keeping an eye on his blog and will certainly back the Kickstarter. Sure looks good so far – wish he'd gone the same funding route with Blasters & Bulkheads, I'd have loved to have seen that one as a big fancy print book too.

Saw this last week – I will likely join any Kickstarter for this project…
