What's yours ?

I'd have to say the Irregular 6mm Fantasy – as I have quite a few. Also have 6mm Irregular 16th century – but due to bad painitng (mine) I'm less fond of them.

Pictors Studio13 May 2012 4:34 p.m. PST

I really like the Epic Stuff from GW. Those plastic figs are great and really reasonably priced.

Sergeant Paper13 May 2012 4:34 p.m. PST

I think its summat like, "How can you tell what they are, they're SOoooo tiny!"

Sergeant Paper13 May 2012 4:35 p.m. PST

I like the 1/300 "Roman Seas" galleys from Eric Hotz, and plan to get some Baccus figures to crew them.

Charles Marlow13 May 2012 4:43 p.m. PST

I like Old Crow's Hammer's Slammers line.

Yesthatphil13 May 2012 4:46 p.m. PST

I quite like the historical ranges by Baccus. Some of the heads are getting a bit big … but generally a well thought out and stylish range of figures.

Oh, is the question about miniatures?

Alder Miniatures, and GHQ.

Dynaman878913 May 2012 6:54 p.m. PST

Most anything GHQ, except for some of the older infantry.

Baccus – just about everything.

H&R – I like all the modern stuff I bought so far.

My most used 6mm figures are Irregular rat men but they are used as rat sized rats folk with my 28mm armies.
Used as 6mm Baccus is most used but I do have others that I like.

Irregular are great – not GHQ but you do not pay the price, but the quality is a ok – a good balance. If I want to game Irregular, if I want to model GHQ

Far and away 6x60mm Navy.

6.5x57mm Swedish Mauser is a close second. I'd take both any day over Carano,Arisaka, Mannlicher-Schönauer, or Krag. I've heard good things about the Grendel and Lapau, but I haven't seen them myself.

Other than that, GHQ & C-in-C for most uses, GZG for their highly undervalued 6mm line, but sadly no one seems to like 6mm much for sci-fi. I would like to see some of the Forgeworld stuff up close though.

Strictly speaking is "Epic" 6mm, 8mm, or 10mm?

LeonAdler Sponsoring Member of TMP15 May 2012 1:10 p.m. PST

Well I know someone thats done some very nice Sci-fi stuff recently so they deserve a mention, Angel Barracks of course lol

Gennorm16 May 2012 2:16 a.m. PST

Most recent stuff from Baccus and everything by Adler.

Best model is GHQ's T35 – sheer indulgence due to the cost.

Willtij16 May 2012 7:52 a.m. PST

Adler

Also I am looking forward to more great items from Angel Barracks.
