Agree on the slingers .Matching them to a post apoc sceanario is so overlooked as it is skillful with practice and never run out of ammo.

Barbed Ball Bearings was of course the theme-ammo of one of the Angel Gang from Judge Dredd. Was it 'Fink' ?

I cannot reccomend spikey ammo in a sling… the spikes catch on the release-strap,so it becomes a morning star, swings round and hit you in the face leaving a curious scar that in later years girlfriends can ask you how you got, and when you tell them they realise you are a total nerd and leave you for that big lad from the Rugby Team.
