Overall, has to be Doctor Who, with honourable mentions for Star Trek, Blackadder,Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf, and Life on Mars. As a child however, it was Thunderbirds,or whatever Anderson puppet series was showing, and the very camp 1960's Batman series, which I took absolutely seriously.. |

If I have to pick a favourite it would be Get Smart. I can watch them anytime. I have never tired in over 40 years I remember watching them. But my favourite TV drama would be 'This Life' from 1996: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Life For some reason, this just stuck a chord. My friends and I still talk about it 15 years on. I must admit that a lot already mentioned come close – Monty Python, M*A*SH*, UFO, Captain Scarlett, Star Trek TOS are the runner ups. There may be some more recent stuff that will become favourites, but too early to tell. |

I'd like to see I'm Alan Partridge on the list so I'll suggest it. And The Day Today (Chris Morris). And the new Sherlock which has just concluded its second season here in the US. Black Adder needs to be mentioned too if it wasn't already. |
