Sorry
I asked this question a couple years ago but forgot the answer: Anybody got an ID on these guys?
Thanks in advance, VSB

Those are by Folio works. They are "High Command" Saurians you can see more of the line here: link
I've got the Protectorate officers and a couple of Ratten. Even with the double (with slight modifications) of alot of the sculpts, it's a nice range of figs, and the separate weapons system is great for fitting them into whatever your particular setting happens to be. |

In case you have any trouble getting those, I have some 28mm reptilians in my range too.

The line slipped completely under my radar somehow, and this is the first I've heard of it- I'd seen some Saurian figs before, but never knew/cared what they were, as they'd been, ahem, "painted" via the "if multiple thin coats of paint are good, then multiple thick coats must be GREAT!" method, which was
somewhat less than flattering, let's be charitable and call it. And I mean, to the point that I remember honestly wondering why the sculptor'd chosen to not sculpt eyes on the figures. Yeah, that bad. Heh. How hard are they to find these days, any idea off the top of your (or anyone else reading's) head? Not necessarily the Saurians specifically, but just the line in general? I think they'd make for some fun tertiary forces for my sci-fi collection, especially if the prices haven't soared up through the van Allen belt and into the Collector's Ridiculosphere. - Monk |

They're pretty hard to find. I tried to hunt down a supplier but got nowhere. Here's a review we did on our blog with the contact information we found if you want to try following up. link Also, badger games has some Slee'zan lizards with guns, though they don't have a website yet. They go for about 4 bucks each and it's a pretty extensive line with over 30 sculpts as well as some other amphibs and an equally deep line of sci-fi ratmen. Here's someone who has painted one. link
I met the Badger Games guy at Little Wars and have his card. Shoot me a PM and I'll give you his number. |
