I posted some pictures on my blog of the latest regiment I painted. You can see them here:

very nice

Nice, now do 1,000 more. I think 10mm is the best scale for ACW and Naps. I painted 1,000 ACW figs in a month, put them on pop cicle sticks and used the SOS method-(dots for faces and canteens dashes for guns and belts.)

Nice work.

Very nice work! Change the setting on your camera to either tungsten or the light bulb. The colors are all off and give everything a purple tint.
I'm going to do 1st Bull Run, so that information about the 33rd's uniform is very interesting!

Very nice work. I hope mine turn out half as well. What rules are you using?

Hauptmann611 May 2012 2:06 p.m. PST

I saw you are looking for gamers. Where are you located?

Albino Squirrel12 May 2012 7:59 p.m. PST

Thanks everyone!

That's an impressive feat, Grossman. I doubt I could paint 1000 of them in a year, much less in a month. I'm a slow painter, but I do enjoy putting the little details into them, so I don't mind that it takes a while.

I've played Black Powder a couple of times, Micman, and I really liked it. So that's most likely what I'll use these for if I get the chance.

I'm in the Chicago area, Hauptmann6.

Ok, the guys I know are in Urbana area. But there are a ton of gamers in Chicago. I would hit up the local conventions.

Yes, I like that look for Confederates.
