Simple yet effective building techniques. Tres bon! And the location comes as a surprise – with bananas and Spanish, I was, of course, suspecting Central America but you have cleverly placed it on the East African coast. And you have all those lovely foreign interests in case internal politics gets too boring. |

Artekaos, While I'm disturbed that you've "stolen" my idea for an east African fictional land (completely original, of course), I LOVE your flag! Now don't you dare steal my rivers name: The Shambezi. EMW |

Hoooo !!! Be quiet early morning writer ;) !!! Shambezi is not a river in Bananas country
hum
Just the name of the leader-Priest in chief of the Vaudoun cult ;);): Inguana Shambezi (I give you the copyright :)) Hum
In other part, i think that i post in few days my collection of Bananas flags ;) |

Well, the nerve! I believe it is time to consider somewhere in the not too far distant future – but not too close to the present (what with all the painting to be done) – to weigh the possibility of maybe mounting an invasion of Bananaville. Good thing our respective collections are in the same scale (15 mm) so it will be a fair fight. Here is a link to the developing blog, I direct your attention to the sub-tab (and site namesake) Steeplechase. Clearly, you've stolen a march on me, Artekaos, but my legions are many and the chimpanzees numerous! Nervous now, ain't 'cha? : > link |

early writer, if i watch your multiproteiform blog i understand that whatever the subject of my blog these will a subject of interest to you (all is interest for you no? :)) i imagine you write early morning to late evening
but where is the pics??? ;) if you want that i meet the challenge, you must reveal your force isn'it? :) // althrougt i'm going to equip my troops of chimpanzeerfaust // |

Artekaos, Yes, all tabs are areas of interest (and almost all I have figures for – 32,000+, around 5 or 6000 painted, maybe). As to the pics, they will get there one day but busy with Life right now. Reveal my forces? To your spies? Never! : ) And after another look at your blog I now have proof I beat you to the idea – by 50 years! Mine is set in the 1880's rather than in the era of the Spanish Civil War. Be that as it may, mon ami, we can still have "mock" battles from our respective 'lands'. By the way – if still available – there is a company that makes plastic banana trees, Pegasus I think but I could be wrong, don't know if I still have the boxes. I do have some in process of being assembled/painted. EMW |
