very nice work on the figures by the painter , bases are unfinished i hope ? What is the standard rifle they are carrying ? |

Lovely work on those figures. The helmet camo is particularly well done. The Danes used G3 rifles. The home guard militia used M1 Garands. |

Nice job on the helmet camo, not too much to make them look like they have bushes on their heads. Looks like the troops in the photo. |

"The Danes used G3 rifles. The home guard militia used M1 Garands." And the GPMGs are MG3s. The spotty flecktarn style camo came in during the mid 1980s, it was olive green before that (interesting that it has faded to khaki in the top photo!). |

Yup, the militia routinely used BARs, though they may also have had some MG3. The Danes are a great 1980s army to do – Cents, M41s (plus upgraded versions of both), Leopard 1A4s, TOW on lightweight Land Rovers, flecktarn camo, OH-6 Cayuse, Hughes 500 Defender, Saab Draken
What's not to like? QRF do almost everything you need (using West German infantry) and any required conversions (e.g. TOW Land Rovers, Centurion DK and M41 DK are so easy that even I can do them. Tamiya also do the Draken in 1/100th. A mate of mine has done them quite comprehensively in 15mm and damnably nice they look. |

Ask nicely, and I'll even throw you a TOW launcher in with your Land Rover to make it easy. |
