Is it just me or does the way the right arm holds the arquebus look really awkward?

Not totally off, based on historical images and re-enactors.

The Japanese 'teppo' arquebus doesn't have a buttstock that you pull into your shoulder. Instead, it works off of a cheek weld where you pull back with your right hand and push forward with your left. Totally different from western ideas, but it works.

Those Wargames Factory guys do look good. Now you're making me think of selling off my OG teppo! Dean

I have the ashigaru sets myself and they're good- well worth the price, especially for mass foot units. When I first heard about these, I was really curious how they would solve the lacing issue on the sides. They did a great job with that.

I stand corrected!
