Nice review!

I look forward to reintroducing Jumbos to my Americans. I only used them once before in a tournament back during the V1 rules and the "Jumbos Lead the Way" rule is truly nice. I had a small platoon of Shermans with a Jumbo and I was up against a platoon of two Hetzers. The Hetzers would pop up on a hill and fire at my Shermans but since they moved they would only score one hit, which would bounce off the Jumbo and then they'd Stormtrooper back behind the ridge. This went on for three turns while I closed on the enemy. Finally I got around the hill and bagged the Hetzers without having lost a tank.

I read an actual account of a US armored column encountering a pair of Flak 88's on a road. the Americans sent out their Jumbo to draw fire while another force went around and knocked out the 88s from behind. It worked perfectly. The Jumbo was hit 13 times by the 88s but was still in action!

"Get out there, Louie! It's only an 88!"

I wish they had released the Jumbo Sherman in a single blister at the same time.

Did you encounter any track issues like those being being discuused on the Battlefront forums about the Easy 8s?

Thank you for the review.

Negative, I lucked out with my E8s. You can see their review here: link
