Here's an AAR of the game that Chicago Skirmish Wargames put on at the Little Wars Convention. link Also included are pics of all the forces involved as well as my thoughts about Little Wars and running a Sci-Fi game at an historical convention. The game used a modified version of the free ruleset "Wastelands Meltdown": link We did away with the velocity mechanic (made the movement more like 40k) and simplifed the combat mechanics. The 7 page PDF (linked below) is 7 identical summaries of the scenario special rules, each with a different force list representing one of the players. link Some pics to pique your interest

Glad you folks liked it. Blackpool, The minis come from a wide variety of places. Just a few off the top of my head: -Gas Runner Tribe. Rebased and modified Mage Knight Khamsin faction figures -Mad Max is "Rex Dark Future Hero" from Reaper -Most of the scavengers and survivors are EM4 -Bikers are EM4 with an Alpha Forge/MegaMinis fig(chainsaw guy) -There's also a couple of guys made from GW parts and a few others. If there's any particular figure(s) you want to know about let me know and I'll find out. |

Nice. I'm a noob at all this but love checking out these forums. So are they 28mm? |
ordinarybass | 04 May 2012 4:31 p.m. PST |
Welcome to the forum Blackpool! Yep, they're all 28mm figs and 1/43 and 1/32 (for the buggy, van and pickups) scale cars. Let me know if you have any other questions. |

Thanks for the info and greeting! I love this kind of post-apocalyptic setting. Are you a bass player by chance? (ordinary bass) I am hehe. |

Yes I am. When I signed up for TMP I was the bassist for "Something Ordinary". link S.O. no longer exists, but TMP does, and I'm still a bassist! |
