Does anyone know what figures (or boxed sets) Paul Hicks has sculpted thus far?Besides German Fallshirmjagers and British paras
I think. I'm a big fan of Paul Hicks minis and want to take a plunch in WW2. Many thanks Regards Kurt. |

As far as I know, he sculpted all of the BAM figures before Warlord bought them. Since then, a new sculptor has done lots of work. Just look at the older ranges- German, Russian, British, American, Italian and Finnish that are from before the take-over. |

(edit) Comte beat me to it: Actually, almost all of the new Bolt Action stuff is not done by Hicks. New Germans, Soviets, and SS metals are all someone else (though I don't know his name). Not sure who did the plastics, but they aren't Hicks either IIRC. I don't think Hicks has done anything for them for a while now. |

I am not sure that thismis entirely correct anymore. They have taken some of the old models off the market and rereleased them some time later. I think they made some changes to the original sculpts. At least on the Russians the faces on some of the minis in their catalogue look different from the knes I have. With the Brits even the metal minis are new, with the old ones gone. Cheers, Burkhard |

I still have a bunch of the original Boltaction items if interested. I know I have some Russians, British, Germans, Italian Paras, French and maybe a few Partizans. (these are not in the webstore) Contact me through my webstore contact page. |

Brigade Games: Didn't Paul Hicks do your USMC and Japanese range as well? |

As mentioned, Warlord Games has pretty much phased out the sculpts Paul did for Bolt Action. The new Warlord sculpts are bigger and bulkier than the ones Paul did. And the faces are more expressive and cartoony. If you like the style and proportions of Paul Hicks sculpts, you should consider Offensive Miniatures. They have very nice US Airborne and Fallschirmjagers at the moment. |

Morning Gents Thanks for the kind words on the sculpting. I'm very much still employed by Warlord Games to produce sculpts for them. Some of the early sculpts have been taken out of the line like the British but they are some of my early work. Ranges I have done for Warlord Games and still in production are British Paras, American Airborne, FJs and Italian Paratroopers (A bit of a theme there). Ranges since WG took over are Chindits and British and Commando metal figures to add to the Plastic sets. So you can see I still have alot to do with Boltaction. Also a new range of my sculpts previewed at Salute and some exciting stuff to come. Paul Hicks |

Very cool. I don't normally like to be wrong, but in this case, that is ok as it means we end up with more Hicks stuff for WWII! Keith |
