I just had to do it! A 60 x 60mm base of rifles. I'm kind of happy with the effect as I hope it shows them breaking down into companies (well sort of). An officer leads a company or two off to the right flank, covered by a skirmish screen, while the rest of the battalion is formed up in line. A bugler sounds the orders to advance. Just updated my blog with more pics.

I also based up a few more British command figures and have started painting up some wonderful Timecast buildings. These are brilliant little castings that I highly recommend.

Thanks for the comments all :-) 'ironlegs' thanks for posting the link, I just had a look a your blog, great stuff, do you mind if I add a link from my site? I'd like to follow it. The games room pics look really inspiring. I'm not too far from playing my first 6mm test game, probably Polemos rules although I have a couple of others in mind too. Just painting up a few buildings and a bit more terrain. Each BUA base can hold a 60 x 60mm infantry base and a battery base, and can be joined together to form larger 'towns' etc
well at least thats the plan! I'll be adding more pics of the buildings to the blog tomorrow. Lee.
