I'm only 5 weeks or so into this new 6mm project, first time I have painted 6mm figures for about 15years or so! I'm enjoying it a lot and it also gives me the chance to make my own terrain from scratch, which I find rewarding. I'm waiting for some Timecast Peninsular buildings to arrive which will be added to the central 'village' base (black areas are will they will sit). Still got a long way to go yet. Trees are also home made from clump foliage.

Nice job. I like the look of the bases with the skirmishers. What rules are you using?

Those are excellent. In fact, they're downright inspiring! I've always toyed with the idea of gaming Napoleonics in 6mm, and your results make the prospect all the more tempting.

They are really nice. I like the discrete little space to mark unit number/troop quality – I shall be stealing that!

6mm devotees once referred to 6mm as the "dark side". Your excellent work is bringing it into the light as more people are seeing both the beauty and benefits of that scale.

Thank you for sharing keep up the good work and may you have lots of fun

Thank you for those comments chaps, much appreciated. I had a pretty clear idea of what I hoped to achieve when I made the move to 6mm recently, and I'm very happy with the results myself.

Todd, I have not yet actually played a game with them, but I'm basing for Polemos 'General de Brigade' version but using the deeper 60 x 60mm bases, because I prefer the look of them. So each base is just a battalion.

KNocked off a few British command figures this morning, just need basing. Heres a pic.
