For your viewing pleasure photos of resin castings picked up earlier today, for future production masters. Still need to finish cleaning them up. Metal castings should be available in under two weeks.
Thanks, Piotr @ Pole Bitwy |

Separate heads are a great Idea, would really like to see seated Driver figures and passengers/ tank riders, i'm thinking figures to add to models like these
.
To turn them into Sci fi/ Tomorrow's war technicals..
some generic figures for manning heavy weapons in the back of the Technicals would also be great. In terms of seperate heads, I would a sprue of the russian tanker helmet, I think that's a great idea, African/ Rasta head with dreadlocks would also work well, thinking of the Nigerian clans in District 9 as well as generic Middle East characters wearing the Keffiyeh link yes will also be ordering a lot of these guys when they are released These are obviously my wish list, but just want to say I love these and I will be buying a stack of them, respect and kudos to both yourself and Whiffwaff who I believe was the sculptor
.only thing I would add is please, please can we have some Somali clan militia as well for African Tomorrow's war? |

Pole Bitwy PL, The figures look very good. Are these new figures going to be cast in resin, or they are used to create the masters and the production figures will be metal. I was just wondering. Thanks |

These are resin castings of the original "greens" – sculpts. They are master castings of a higher quality then if they were cast in metal and due to the lower temperature of the mould required for resin, the original green is left completly undamaged which is not the case with moulds made for metal. Finally they are used to fill-up the mould, which is absolutely huge – about 30 plus 15mm human sized minis fit on the mould. Of course the resin castings you see in pictures above are not the master castings used to create the production metal moulds. I took those from a rather unhappy caster, to ship some over to Wiff Waff the sculptor to create even more and have some to experiment with. Resin would be a good material for miniatures since its very light and the miniatures would have higher details than those cast in metal, unfortunately resin is very fragile and brittle, so you would definitely loose all kinds of small or thin extended bits like antennae or even weapon barrels in 15mm. Thanks. Piotr @ Pole Bitwy |

Got to get some of these for my Khazak Liberation Front (KLF) militia, (yes they will be having an ice cream van technical!). They look awesome sculpts Piotr, sizewise will they mix with GZG and Khurasan? Any idea as to when these will be available? |

The metal castings will be ready somewhere between the end of this new week and the week after that, but definitely not later than middle of May. |

Really looking forward to the release. The Chechens will work well to represent the defense forces of the Republik of Katorgastan and the Modern Russians will be excellent troops for Tepesnia Maj. Diz Aster
