Hi

What shade or brand of green paint should I use for rifleman green?

Thanks

Any dark green should do it!

I use Coat d'Arms US Dark Green, looks right at small 15mm scale/size

Since the uniforms were made by hand there was probably quite a bit of variation in the actual shade. Cerdic probably has the best answer.

I usually use Orkhide shade or Dark Angels Green as the base.

Dark angels green with alittle bit of black to deepen it down, then black wash, followed by a dry brush of dark angels green. Mix camo green in a tad at a time and lightly dry brush to highlight.

I use the Foundry Russian green shade (form the Nap range of paints)

Hooker's Green in artist oils or acrylics is pretty good. Green Umber is closer to the correct colour, but then the belts, etc., don't show up well.
