I know of three companies that have made/make a Hosho.
The Panzerschiffe models are cast resin and, on the whole, pretty primitive. That said, their Hosho is one of their better renderings. It's cast in 2 pieces and assembled at the factory. For a Panzerchiffe it's really quite good. The picture on their website doesn't do it justice.
Viking Forge makes one, but I have never seen one in the flesh. The VF pricing system is a clue to the relative quality of the model. Those with prices of "$x.95" are newer scuplts. Those with "$x.00" are older and less sophisticated. Their Hosho is "$5.00," so it is likely only somewhat better than the Panzershiffe.
I have another one done by a company called "A-T-Pak." It's quite good, but I have no idea who ATPak were, nor have I ever sen another of their products. For all I know ATPak was a precursor of Viking Forge. This seems unlikely as I have seen VFs sold at cons dating all the way back to the early '80s.
On balance, if your other models are primarily Panzershiffes, I'd go with theirs. Otherwise I'd go with VF. Their model is almost certainly better, and at $5.00 USD is less expensive.
Hope this helps.
