Perry Miniatures produced a special range of Anzac figures for the film director Peter 'Lord of the Rings' Jackson a few years ago. Has anyone ever seen the said figures painted up and displayed or is Jackson keeping them soley for his own private viewing? I would love to see the finished work. Will they ever be produced for the rest of us? |

For those of us NOT blessed with millions of dollars to spend on the real thing, we have to settle for miniatures
Peter Jackson has done an AMAZING job of reconstructing many lost WW1 aircraft. His entire website is well worth exploring: link |

Wow that is really cool. I didn't even know those existed. Absolutely beautiful. |

I think it was pretty clearly stated that these miniatures will not be available commercially. You will just have to make friends with Peter Jackson (mmm, maybe its time to contact my cousin in LA, he does work for the agency that handles Peter Jackson). |

Some of us got to see some of the WWI some years back when Alan and Michael were in Wellington. A really cool vignette of infantry bombing their way up a trench. |
