Came across this film and thought people might find it interesting:

Disney apparently did lots of training and propaganda films during WWII. I seem to recall an exhibit on it at the Disney history thing at Hollywood Studios in Orlando. Fascinating stuff. I'm glad some still survive.

I have a set of Disney disc's for the war period. It included this film as part of the collection. Bought the collection at Walmart about 4 or 5 years ago.

Was it me,or did that sound like Claude Rains narrating?

It did sound like Claude Rains, What model panzers were those at the start of the film?

What model panzers were those at the start of the film?

I don't know, but we ought to get Germy to sculpt us some. He does cute tanks quite well.

Hmmm. I wonder if there's a niche market waiting to be tapped there? Cutesy-but-somehow-sinister WW2 stuff ala the war-era cartoons and training films? Maybe write the rules as a deliberate parody of Flames of War? "Russkie tanks must remain in contact with at least one other Russkie tank if possible. If they end their movement out of contact, they must test to become Frightened unless there is a Kommissar within 6" and line of sight."

I watched it and heard the narration and to me it did'nt sound like Claude Rains.
