Updated my blog with new pics showing some of the terrain items I have made, plus 2 new infantry bases. I'm currently painting a base of highland infantry, those kilts should prove a challenge in this tiny scale! The Battalion with skirmishing 95th rifles and the French Legere battalion are the 2 most recent additions.

Very nice job – neat and professional looking I hope they fight as good as they look. If you think kilts are bad wait until you try to do the diced bonnet end stockings ?? |

Grambo do me a favor, next time you post pics hold a single figure next to your thumb nail so I can get an idea of actual 6mm size. I am debating about adding a 6mm army. Can you please also give me a front and back view? Thanks Grambo |

I would like to discuss the 6mm option with you ib more detail. |

Fred: I'm the US dealer for Baccus6mm. Send me your address and I will send you some sample Baccus figures. I am NOT able to send specific eras/codes. What I have is a big bin of loose, unsorted figures. I'll send you handful to look at. They will be primarily ancients and Napoleonic but who knows what else is in that big bin? mark@scalecreep.com Mark "Extra Crispy" Severin ScaleCreep.com FlagshipGames.com DeepFriedHappyMice.com |

Thank you all, I have to say I'm really enjoying painting and working with these tiny figures. Fredloan, I've only been running this project for about 3 weeks or so now but the figures are a revelation to me in terms of casting quality. I've painted Old Glory 10mm, Adler, Irregular 6mm and Heroics and Ros in the past but I love these Baccus figures, you can tell just how much care has gone into producing these things. I was still painting 28mm figures until a few weeks ago! I'm convinced that basing style can really enhance the smaller scales. A few more pics, close up as I can get and not have them all fuzzy! A couple have already been posted in this gallery but I'll put them here. Cheers, Lee.

I really nice! Does each base equal one battalion? What size bases are these since I really like the look of them. Keep up the great work and awesome blog! Michael |

Grambo, you need a blog! Very nice work. Have you thought of using Adler figures? |

Lovely work. You are dead right about the basing enhancing them. |

Thank you. 'MC' yes, a base is a battalion ( Polemos 'General de Division rules). Should be 60 x 30 but I prefer deeper bases of 60 x 60, makes no difference to how the rules play so long as I bear in mind that when the rules state "fall back 1BD" for example they fall back just 30mm not 60mm! CPBelt, I have painted Adler ACW figures in the past, brilliant little castings, very crisp and finely detailed. My preference for Napoleonics is the Baccus range. |

Those are fantastic, 6mm always looks much better when its based on a large platform – its like having 20 odd mini diorama's on the battlefield! |
