Yes I love this book, and indeed all of Andre Joineau's work. And I think the translation is better in these uniform volumes. Pastry chef indeed! Very true! |

The more recent ones on Guides and Chasseur a Chevalier are equally good. |

Great stuff! Does it give a date on the back page of the book cover when the French Light Infantry book will be coming out? I am very excited for all these books and I think the problem you mentioned with Osprey types books will be solved. This light infantry book will help answer some questions for me about plume and epaulette colors! |

no idea, the next announced is only the Chasseurs à cheval Volume II not before june 2012, unfortunately these last months and years it seems that H&C has reduced the number of books published each year, many are delayed and allways expected like la Bérézina, Ocaña, the same for both Battles and Men and Officers & Soldiers series

Thanks for the review, I just started getting into Napoleonics coming from WWII, and have found color guides a lot more difficult to find. I'll have to pick this up. |
