We are very pleased to offer three new science fiction releases in 15mm scale.

picture

First up, for our Planet 15 cinematic sci-fi range, we have the third of our vacation aliens -- the first one was the Vacation Alien, so we named the sequel model the "European Vacation Alien," and that means this one must be the "Christmas Vacation Alien." He's taken a rather large, nasty killing blade on vacation, so be sure to give him good service!

picture

Next we have added the dreaded Infected, transhuman savages, to our End Times Post-Apocalyptic range. These horrible creatures, infected by a virus, and passing it on to their offspring, have enhanced senses and physical capabilities, and a taste for raw human flesh.

Finally, we've added a set of fleeing/running scientists (plus one who apparently did not flee fast enough) to our 15mm Sci Fi range. We think these would be perfect as player characters or NPCs in our popular Sci Fi Interior Battleground sets, terrified scientists fleeing the abominations they have bred or introduced into our dimension, and as such are the perfect complement for the security guard set previously released. They'd also work great with our brand new Modern Zombie range, of course, as doctors or scientists fleeing the zombies.

All are available now! Painted by Artmaster Studio and Dags -- thanks guys.

Those scientists would work as all sorts of things with varied paint jobs. Even as-is, they could easily be civilian medicos (running to reach a casualty, of course, maybe with a doctor's bag added to one hand), and they'd be right at home in the Little Carinthia line too.

Nice to see yet another vacationer, too.

I like the Alien and the Humans.

Can't wait for the Vegas Vacation Alien release.

Very nice, Jon. I was just wondering what had happened to those Pandorum-ish figures. :)

The scientist on the far right is begging to have a gun on his right hand… paint his coat black and give him sunglasses…

Once again you release stuff just after I place an order.

(According to my Paypal receipt I place the order 10 minutes(!!!) after you placed this message.)

Oh well, gives me something to order NEXT payday!

Cool, another Huntarr champion, all very nice offerings.

Should I order now or wait 20 min? I just added the Zombie stuff. My "to order from Khurasan" list keeps growing!

Lion in the Stars12 Apr 2012 8:44 p.m. PST

It's not the Vegas Vacation huntarr that worries me. Any one of the college students scare the hell out of me…

I mean, a bunch of drunken frat-Huntarr (Animal House, Van Wilder …)?

Ahh!! Loverly, more Post Apocalyptic Goodness…

Where are the lab coat guys on the website again?

"Once again you release stuff just after I place an order." (That's what I was thinking.)

"Should I order now or wait 20 min?" (I actually waited and watched for just over an hour- still got caught out.grin)

Brothers, I hear you. Nifty though, Khurasan always gives me something else to look forward to on TMP.

Cheers and kudos to all of you there at Khurasan. Keep it coming!

The lab coat guys are in the same place as the sci-fi police and nostromo crew… under sci-fi models

Why do they always have a taste for raw human flesh?

Why can't the plague impart them with a taste for hickory-smoked human flesh, cooked low-and-slow, basted with a tangy vinegar-based marinade laced with some juniper berries, a fistful of smoked habs, some crushed black mustard seed, and perhaps a few smashed raspberries, just to round it out and add a little sweetness and body?!

Maybe traditionally served with a double-fermented whole wheat and sundried tomato sourdough artisanal loaf, fresh from the oven and accompanied by a thick, rich butter with just a subtle tang to it, inspired by the cultured lactobacillus butters of northern France & the Netherlands?!

Perhaps a foamy adult beverage brewed with the same whole wheat and a lightly toasted, high-sugar malt, to lend it a sweetness to a full-bodied brew that they thicken with a careful measure of the filtered, chilled blood of the meal being served- in heavy brass mugs lined with hand-fired pottery, to protect the beverage from leeching metallic flavors and ruining the refreshing earthiness, of course!

I mean, just because they're cannibalistic savages doesn't mean they automatically have to be savages, does-

…oh. I suppose maybe it does, after all. The whole "savages" thing, I guess.

Well now, don't I feel silly.

Oh bother…

Hah- seriously, though, great figures, honestly. It never fails to impress and amaze me, the way you guys regularly achieve 28/30mm detail and quality of sculpting on figures half that size.

Even though I am very excited at the prospect of the upcoming 28mm trial run vehicle (and am intending to order a couple, wallet willing), I think you may well still have set the 15mm sci-fi hook on me, as well- I'd tell you how often I find myself thinking "At those prices, I can easily afford to do 15mm on the side without giving up 28mm," but quite honestly, I don't trust you with such information, you horrible wargaming siren!

:D

Dan,

Thank you for that- I am still snickering to myself.

Reminds me of Mayfair's brilliant gameworld/source material for their old dystopic, darkly satirical superhero RPG "Underground."

Cannibalism had been legalized (so long as it was voluntary, and the person was already dead- was akin to organ donation), and there was a particular restaurant chain mentioned in the game.

Tastee Ghoul.

Their slogan had me giggling at inappropriate moments for weeks:

"TASTEE GHOUL! Are YOU a people person?"
