There are Battle Honors mixed in with the Blue Moon, not Old Glory.

That's a sweet looking unit, and I never would have thought the two lines would mix so well. Well done!

ooops – you are totally right – they didnt come from Old Glory. However, instead of Battle Honors, they may be AB figures from Eureka??? Great documentation I have!!!

15mm acw, I remember when I bought a lot of Essex stuff, I painted up afew for gaming DBA but was never really happy with my painting style or just the general look of them! So I strayed back to DIXON acw and never looked back . Yours look much better than mine ever did! Keep up the great work!

Nice. I had to look back at the heading to remind myself that I wasn't looking at 28mm figures. The basing complements the figures well, too.

just shows people get their knickers in a knot over 2mm oversize.I mix my 28s There are ranges that are way oversize but once painted the figures I buy blend in just fine.

Some neat painting some more pics soon?

I notice that you have painted the forage cap/kepi brims the same color as the caps (grey, brown) on some of the figures. I also assumed they were only black leather on both Federal and Confederate caps. Was that intentional?

Very, very nice.
